وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته 
This act is not considered as a Bidah. Rather it is a praiseworthy act. And we ask Allah عز وجل to make you more firm and grant you more Khair. Also, I advice you to make your Niyyah so that you are also praying it as Qiyamul Layl. By this way you will get both the rewards إن شاء الله . Because the prayer after doing Wudhu can be within any other prayers.
