Some Muslims give the meaning "leech", "something that clings" for the word علق in the Ayaat such as " خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ He has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood)" [96:2]. Is contradicting the Tafsir of the Salaf in this way permissible? The reason for them doing so is because the Kuffar scientists deny that the embryo goes through the stage of a blood clot. The second question which is related to the first, please tell me how to explain to a Muslim that we are not supposed to oppose the Quran and Sunnah using our intellect or what the Kuffar scientists believe.
