Question
Question from a sister: Some Muslims from the Hizbiyoon argue about the position of women in Islam by raising some of the following points. One, Aisha رضي الله عنها took part in a battle. They use this to encourage women to join political parties, rallies as part of serving the Muslim community. Two, Khadeeja رضي الله عنها was a business woman who was self made and the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم did not stop her from pursuing her business. Three, the male companions used to clarify their doubts with the Sahabi women. They bring all these incomplete versions from the history and to prove that the position of women in Islam is about freedom, equality and not restricted to her home only. Please clarify for me the reality of their claims and how to answer them with Hikmah.
