A brother mortgaged his 100 grams of gold to another brother and got around 5 lakhs of money as liquid cash as he needed money immediately. Should the brother who borrowed money give Zakah for this 5 lakhs or the gold that he mortgaged? Also the brother who lended the money in mortgage give Zakah for the gold that is with him or the money he lended?
