While leading the people is it allowed for me to skip some verses of the Quran and jump to others to avoid the circumstance of prostrating during some verses which have not been not authentically reported from the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم but are prevalent among the people? For example the verse in Surat Sajda? Because I heard that it is better to avoid these circumstances in front of the common folk to avoid controversy. My question is can we skip some verses for this purpose?
