I have heard that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم has made Dua asking for Paradise whenever he recited the verses of Jannah and has sought refuge whenever he recited the verses of Hell Fire. What’s the correct method of doing this in the Salah? Can we do this Dua to ourselves silently when we pray behind the Imam whilst hearing these verses? Can this be done outside the Salah as well like when the Quran?
