A brother asks: I have a land in my name and I have invested my money on it. Currently I don't have any plan to use the land or sell it but in the future I may do it. Should I need to pay the Zakat on this land? If yes, then the current value of this land is so high that I won't be having enough money to pay the Zakat. So please provide an answer with proofs.
