What's the correct way to take knowledge? And what should a person do if he does not know Arabic? And is the Ayat "And it is not (proper) for the believers to go out to fight (Jihâd ) all together. Of every troop of them, a party only should go forth, that they (who are left behind) may get instructions in (Islâmic) religion, and that they may warn their people when they return to them, so that they may beware (of evil)." [9:122] an evidence for saying all Muslims should not go to study the Deen?. A Daee in my land took this as an evidence and has spread it in his channel. What are the studies compulsory upon a Muslim and what should he do if there are no scholars in his land ? I am in a confused state so please advise me.
