Ustad, I saw a status of one of our brothers in Whatspp in which he wrote that “The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم says making pictures is Haram and some people are allowing it for the purpose of Dawah” and he also wrote " إن هذا العلم دين فانظروا عمن تأخذون دنكم Indeed this knowledge is Deen so beware of whom you take your Deen from ". I see that some scholars are permitting photography generally and some of them permit particularly for the purpose of Dawah. So does the above statement apply against those scholars who permit photography? Do we have to ignore these Daees who act based on the Fatwa of these Ulemah ?
