وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته Yes it is legal for you to do that according to the opinion of the majority of the Ulemah with the condition that you should not make a specific amount as profit that will be given to you over a regular time period, for example you get a profit of 1000 Dirhams every month. But you can agree to take a percentage from the total profit like 20%, 30% etc. And this is what we call as مضاربة شرعية (legal investment). And Allah عز وجل knows best.
